LG GS505 unlock firmware .OCT

   


Model : LG GS505 AT and T mobile lock network

Tools to unlock : Octopus Box

Firmware : gs505-for_unlock.oct Download at (support)

Steps:

1. Open LG octopus software, Then select Model GS505.

2. Connect the phone to USB PC port with acceptable SIM card or Motorola test card. (sample is AT&T sim) its lock on AT&T.

3. Power on mobile then Install drivers (if you have no driver download HERE) select  LG United Mobile Driver_S51MAN312AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.12.3.exe

4. Reconnect phone when drivers install successful install, Phone ask connection USB, Select "Data service" 

5. in octopus software press Read info, follow UNLOCK button

6.  Some model required firmware to unlock or some is not,
If its not require to download! the phone successful unlock operation.
But if log  windows appear like this on octopus box

Unlocking...
To perform this operation please write firmware "GS505-FOR-UNLOCK" from the support area.
You need to Download "GS505-FOR-UNLOCK"   from the support area.

7. After download  press browse firmware in octopus box button then browse the location of  you download earlier name "GS505-FOR-UNLOCK"
8. Press write firmware button,
The octopus box perform backup NV and SEC file from phone for future purposes, and start auto-reboot on download mode to start writing firmware..

9. After successful operation writing firmware phone reboot then follow step 4 again

10. Press Unlock button then check phones if totally unlock by unaccepted SIM of your country.
