Sony Xperia flash tool FTF file is one of the most powerful tools for Sony Xperia devices and useful software tool to flash FTF file firmware.

1. Flash mode (semc flashing device)

1. Prepare the USB Cable and insert it’s one end to PC and don’t plug it to the device just yet.
2. Turn off the device and wait at least 5 seconds.
3. Press and hold the Back button, don’t release the button.
4. Now plug-in the USB cable to your device.
5. Your device will now get to flash mode.

2. Fastboot Bootloader mode

1. Prepare the USB Cable and insert it’s one end to PC and don’t plug it to the device just yet.
2. Turn off the device and wait at least 5 seconds.
3. Press and hold the Volume Down button, don’t release the button.
4. Now plug-in the USB cable to your device.
5. Your device will now get to Fastboot mode.

How to Flash Firmware (FTF) using Sony Xperia flash tool?

This guide step will show how to load FTF firmware and flash your Xperia

1. Open tools Click thunder icon

2. A new tab appears, Select Boot, you want to connect refer to what is boot mode above.

More common user  will select 1. flash mode

3.  Select flash mode click OK, New tab appears 

• A is browse the folder firmware and paste it your FTF firmware ex. C6603_10.6.A.0.454_HK lollipop.ftf
• B. Select the Model list of your FTF firmware same to your Xperia device
• C. Click Flash Button

There is a selection if you want to wipe data check box is optional if you wish

 

4. After clicking the flash button the Tutorial appear how to connect your Xperia model
